MeowBeans is written by John Maddock and funded by the site itself, not by readers. This page explains how, so you always know when we might earn money from something you read here.

Some of our guides may include affiliate links. If you click one and then buy something, the retailer pays us a small commission. It doesn’t cost you anything extra: the price is the same whether you use our link or not.

Wherever a guide contains affiliate links, we say so clearly next to them.

How we choose what to recommend

  • A commission never decides what we recommend or how we rank products. We’d rather recommend nothing than something we wouldn’t use with our own cats.
  • Companies can’t pay to be included in a guide or to change what we say about them.
  • Health and diet information comes from veterinary and breed-registry sources, whether or not a product is involved.

Advertising

We may show adverts from Google. Ads are chosen by Google, not by us, and showing an ad isn’t an endorsement. You can choose whether advertising and analytics cookies are used through Cookie settings in the footer; see our privacy policy for details.

We don’t currently publish sponsored posts. If we ever do, or if a company sends us a product to try, we’ll say so clearly at the top of that page.
